The Origins of Camping Královec
In 2006, the Koetze family decided to change their lifestyle and embrace a new adventure in beautiful Czechia. They purchased an old farmhouse located between the impressive Giant Mountains and the picturesque Eagle Mountains. After years of hard work, with lots of blood, sweat, and tears, they officially opened the doors of Camping Královec in 2009.
Since then, this former farm has been transformed into a serene campsite that welcomes guests to enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings. Since its opening, Camping Královec has hosted many visitors who have found their own haven here.
Location and Surroundings
Camping Královec is ideally situated between the Giant Mountains and the Eagle Mountains, on a 2-hectare site with 20-25 spacious pitches equipped with electricity. The campsite offers the perfect base for nature lovers and adventurers eager to explore the surrounding mountains, forests, and lakes. The grounds are spacious and green, providing plenty of room for privacy and relaxation.
Visitors can enjoy hiking and cycling trails starting directly from the campsite, as well as nearby attractions such as charming villages, historic castles, and impressive rock formations. The location offers a perfect balance between peace and adventure.

Each year, Camping Královec welcomes a diverse group of guests, ranging from couples and solo travelers to small groups of friends. The campsite has built a loyal following of returning visitors who come back time and again for the friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. For guests traveling without their own camping gear, a comfortable touring caravan is available for rent, equipped with a fixed double bed and a convertible seating area for additional sleeping space.
The bar and terrace offer free WiFi and are ideal spots to unwind with a local beer. In bad weather, the bar has various games available, including the classic Dutch shuffleboard.
